Tribes and adventure in Papua New Guinea

07 – 17 September 2026

Exclusive date for our group, 15 people maximum. We will venture beyond the ordinary, where every experience will be a new discovery, a one-of-a-kind journey dedicated to the exploration of the indigenous kingdoms of the Papua New Guinea highlands.

We will learn about a land where vibrant traditions and wild landscapes converge, where every corner hides stories of past eras, and every glance captures a piece of uncontaminated authenticity. In our expedition we will meet 13 different ethnic groups, among them the enigmatic Asaro Mudmen and the disturbing Skeleton, we will participate in the widows' ceremonies and we will witness the Burning Heads of Gimisave. Our itinerary is a true cultural and ethnographic immersion among the indigenous people. We will meet the tribes in a personal way, when the now too touristy festivals have given way to a more direct and intimate exclusive experience in which all the activities will be organized specifically for our group and we will consequently have excellent photographic opportunities.
