Paolo Bernat

 

Marine biologist and scientific guide Paolo is born in 1961 and since 1990 he is working as professional marine biologist and scientific divulger.
Since 1994 he is involved in Antarctic topics too, expecially marine ecology and marine biology.
In 2002 he had been appointed trustee of the Italian Antarctic Museum in Genova. The same year he joined the XVIII Italian Antarctic Expedition by Programma Nazionale di Ricerche in Antartide at the “Mario Zucchelli” station in Baia Terra Nova and he also joined the scientific activities of the New Zealand Antarctic Research Program at the Scott Base and at the Ross Island (Ross Sea).
In 2004/05/06 he worked as guide onboard Mv Grigory Mikheev, lecturing and guiding passengers on land in the Antarctic Peninsula and Weddel Sea.
In  2007/08 onboard MV Antarctic Dream, lecturing and guiding passengers on land in the South Shetland and in the Antarctic Peninsula.
